An ideal candidate for opening a Franchisee

• Should able to run a successful business venture.
• Should devote full time or a significant amount of his time to the clinic.
• Should have a good social reputation and local presence.
• Should abide by the guidelines given by SHPL.
• Individuals looking purely for quick returns or productive utilization of their idle space or building are not necessarily the right candidates and are likely to be discouraged.

For Financial Transactions:

• The individual/company must have a current account in a govt recognized bank.

Few Important points to start a franchisee:

• The area for the clinic should be minimum of 1500 square feet and must have 50% of the required space in ground floor.
• The pathology tie-up would be a must with SP Diagnostics central laboratory. In case, the franchisee wants to open its own laboratory ever, the referral laboratory would be SP Diagnostics only in all cases.

Franchisee Models:

SHPL helps in the following ways to set up the clinic:

• Choosing the right site and place- A team from SHPL will visit the place and explain the client a detail of the model including the advantages and disadvantages of the location and how these can be overcome if a clinic is to be set up in that place.
• Designing the clinic and proper utilization of space.
• Project Execution including Appointment of Contractor Standardized construction (flooring)/ engineering (air conditioning, electrical, sanitary fixtures etc) materials are negotiated with leading suppliers/ manufacturers to get the most competitive pricing if required.
• Helps in selecting the instruments (like X-Ray, ultrasonography, Dental chairs etc) at good pricing.
• Training for the staff and employees.
• SHPL will provide the clinic and diagnostics management software to run the clinic.
• SHPL will give the marketing support to increase the revenue for initial 1 year (it can be extended depending on the mutual negotiations and business)
• License processing and taking care of govt regulations
• All HR related works for first 1 year like taking interviews and finalizing candidates
• Account management for first 1 year.
• Phlebotomists support (Home collection) in Franchisee type A & B
